Installed Moodle eLearning Platform at www.accelerationenglish.com
I've recently installed Moodle, a complete eLearning platform on my teaching site, www.accelerationenglish.com and I'm looking forward to completing all of the setup as soon as possible so that I can start adding courses!
For those of you who are looking for a good, FREE eLearning platform you might consider Moodle. It is a full-featured eLearning platform and as I'm working through all of the settings it seems to be flexible enough for most everyone. Moodle requires cPanel hosting and a MySQL database.
The hosting company that I chose actually installed Moodle for me, so I didn't have to worry about that part. I'm familiar with cPanel and phpMyAdmin, but didn't feel like having to set everything up. The installation of Moodle was included in my monthly hosting fees, which are less than $15...a LOT less than other eLearning hosting providers I had been looking at (some were over $100 per month!)
